So, I am seriously done with being poked and prodded. The dentist today gave me sufficient novacaine for my fillings on the top of my mouth, but for the bottom, he even told me that he only gave me a little. Why? He didn't want my jaw to be numb. Um, excuse me? I'd much rather have a numb jaw than feel the drill going through the center of my molar. Oh my god, that hurt. I'm never eating again. >:(

Now that I'm done being tramautized, I need something to divert my attention and help me unwind. Let's see... movie, music, book, television, wine... or just plain old sleep. That last option, sadly enough, is looking mighty good at the moment. Ho-hum.

Wtf? That dentist is crap. Did you at least get some good drugs?

Nope, no drugs. And in all fairness, now that the fillings are in, they're all fine except for one which is a little nervy. Still, this isn't the first time a dentist has done this to me. The last time I went in for fillings several years ago, a different dentist said, "Well, this cavity's really shallow, so you won't need novacaine for it." Oh, but I did.

I think they're just sadists, really. I'm almost glad that my dental insurance is up at the end of August, just as an excuse of not having to go for a long time again.
