Today's weather was so much better than that of the last eternity couple of weeks. Breezy, less humid, and it only reached 92 F (ha - only!).
Also, this must be the greatest year that I can remember for both tiger swallowtails and monarch butterflies here in the mid-Atlantic East coast. It's been unbelievable this year. I walk around the garden and the air just swirls with large, bright butterflies. I must post some pictures...
From this week's thefridayfive:
1. How much time do you spend on the Internet daily?
Way too much time - unless the weather's nice, because then I'm outside.
2. What are your favorite 3 websites?
The Yahoo! webpage (news, email, and weather), livejournal, and Petfinder.org.
3. Do you eat at your computer?
Yeah, sometimes. I was much worse in college, though.
4. Pick one and why - Reading the news online or in a newspaper?
Online - I hate getting newsprint on my hands. I'm also impatient and want to know the news as it happens (and without hearing the same stories rehashed time and again as they do on television).
5. How many people are on your instant messenger buddy list?
I only talk to four people online, and that's mainly due to long-distance. I'd much prefer talking to someone in person (though not on the phone - I hate talking on the phone with most people (there are exceptions)). Of those four people, I'm not great about sitting down and actually chatting with two of them while they're online for various reasons, the third is my brother (and we don't talk a whole lot anyway), and the fourth is my comrade seraphtrevs, who is rarely on AIM (though that may be due to the time zone difference). So, long story short, not a whole lot of chatting going on.
