2. What five things do you want to do before the year is out?

1. Make enough money to stay on top of my student loans/car payment/car insurance
2. Update my resume/teaching portfolio
3. Try to network out West where I'd like to live
4. Lose five pounds
5. Hike/bicycle more

3. Who are five people (alive, dead, or otherwise) you would want to have dinner with?

1. My granddad, who I miss
2. My grandmother, who I never knew but have always heard great stories about
3. My great-uncle Jim, for the same reason as above
4. My great-great grandfather Myers, who taught music lessons and had a wooden leg
5. My great-grandfather Cole, who owned a dairy farm and was a veterinarian around the same time as James Herriot (except he lived in Pennsylvania, not Yorkshire)

1. Australia
2. Glacier National Park (again)

1. chocolate cake with my mother's homemade almond icing
