The US is not a soccer nation, despite what the ads on ESPN2 would have you believe. If it were, I would not be having to follow the New England-Columbus match on MLSnet.com. Instead, I'd be watching the game on the television, commercial-free as it is Soccer Saturday. But no, college football is the name of the game here, showing on five or more different channels.
Grrr.
