1 - number of monarch butterfly eggs on our milkweed as of this morning
3.119 - the amount of dollars and cents per gallon I paid to fill my car yesterday
4 - number of days I've spent looking for the remote to my old stereo (still haven't found it)
5 - number of clocks I have in my bedroom, not including my watch. Why, I do not know; I just like clocks
8 - number of meteorites I saw at Cherry Springs Park a few weeks ago
16 - minimum number of single-spaced pages I had to write for my graduate class (who wants to grade things that are single-spaced? Just tell me I need to write 32 pages and get it over with). I met the minimum requirement.
27 - number of bobby pins it took to keep my hair in place for the wedding
32 - number of mosquito bites I had on my legs as of last night
36 - number of miles per gallon my Ford Escort got after my last trip to Lancaster
A bit shallow this week, but what the heck.
From this week's thefridayfive:
1. What about you makes you unique?
I wouldn't say that any of us are truly "unique"; we're all a result of outside influences. My genetic structure is unique, though. Yes, we'll go with that.
2. What aspect of your physical appearance do you think makes you stick out from the crowd?
My hair is very long, thick, and wavy. I'd stick out in a crowd if I were to leave it down; thus it most often is pulled up and back.
3. What do you always have with you while out in public? (for example, earrings, purse, wallet, watch, etc.)
My watch, keys, sunglasses, and purse.
4. Is there anything about your body that you think isn't normal?
Not anymore.
5. What are you complimented on (looks, smarts, anything) the most? Why do you think that's the case?
I'm complimented on my sense of humor, ability to see many sides of an issue, my hair, and my smile. It's the dimple, I'm sure.
