So, scored me a job interview for Monday at my old school district. Substitute teaching, get my foot in the door, etc., etc.... I'm happy, though anxious. Truth be told, while I dearly need the money (student loans, health insurance, car payments, blah, blah, blah), I'm really, really going to miss being lazy. :^P
After last semester's insane running around, I can't honestly say that I'm looking forward to going back to that level of...something. Activity? Consciousness? I can't say that I enjoyed getting up at 4:30 every morning, though I got used to it. Being that I won't have to write my own lesson plans, I suppose there won't really be any need to run myself that ragged right now. And really, the experience will be good, and it'll be nice getting back on a real schedule. It's all one step closer to my ultimate goal...
But, this is all assuming that I get the job, of course.
Hokey toot.
In other news, according to mlsnet.com, there are 23 days left until the kickoff of the regular season. Thank god. I wonder which I'm looking forward to more, the end of Lent or the beginning of soccer Saturdays. At least the soccer will tide me over to Easter... :^P
