Cut for spoilers and stream-of-consciousness rambling. :)

Chuck 2x19 - Chuck Versus the Dream Job

Okay, the love I have for this show really knows no bounds.

A glowing, rotating Rubik's Cube for the new Intersect? Yes, please!

Casey confronting Chuck and getting tranq'ed was hilarious.

Scott Bakula impressed me - weirdly, I've never seen Quantum Leap, but I remember him from Enterprise, and, well, it was a fun show, but pretty silly at times.

The music was awesome, as usual.

And, I teared up at the end when Chuck was dragged away from his dad. Aww!

I know that there was speculation that the member of Chuck's family who's going to find out about him working with the government was going to be Devon, but I'm thinking that Chuck's dad is the only one this season who will. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see Awesome get in on the secret, but that might skew the family dynamics. The last few episodes will sure be interesting.

On a related note, it was really smart of NBC to add the music tracks featured in each episode on the NBC site (here) with links to the songs on iTunes. I've used it, and it looks like I've gotten 18 new songs that way over the past few months.

Heroes 3x22 - "Turn and Face the Strange"

I was on the edge of my seat the entire episode, and my stomach hurt watching Noah get played by Sylar. Noah and Sandra's scenes were some of my favorite of the whole night. I was really afraid that Sandra was going to be killed by Sylar, though. ::whew::

I'm seriously doubting that this partnership between Sylar and Danko lasts for much longer. The only question is, how is Sylar going to off the guy? >:)

I liked that Matt used his detective skills to figure out one of Danko's weaknesses. That was pretty interesting. Matt saying goodbye and thanks for being such a good friend to Mohinder seemed a little out of left field, but at least the writers acknowledged that they have something of a history together, what with the sharing of the apartment and being guardians to a now-disappeared little girl.

Oh! Hiro and Ando with the truck driver? Priceless. I totally cracked up. :D

I'm looking forward to the rest of this season, too, especially given that I haven't been keeping up with fandom or spoilers. I find that I'm enjoying the show way more because of that.

Castle 1x5 - "A Chill Goes Through Her Veins"

Oh, this show. It's the perfect ending to my Monday night tv marathon (yes, three hours of tv a week counts as a marathon for me). I love Nathan Fillion, so I'm probably very, very biased, but I also like the character of Kate Beckett. She seems way more human than other girl-cops on tv I've seen, and I attribute that to Stana Katic's acting.

I really love the relationship between Castle and his daughter, even though it's unrealistic. It makes me happy to watch it because it's so adorable, and heck, that's all I want from my tv - a little escapism from reality. There's a reason why I don't like reality shows (well, several, but that's one of them).

And finally, a huge plus in my book is the fact that for a murder-mystery show, there is very little gore. THANK YOU. I used to love CSI the first couple of seasons it was on, but it became way too gruesome for me. There was also a lack of character development for much of its cast of characters, which is something I can already see as not being a problem for Castle and Beckett.

Yay, Mondays! :D

In other news, there's a nifty Eagle Cam that you can watch. Situated in New Jersey, it's a Ustream.tv video of nesting bald eagles. There were three eggs in the nest this weekend, and one of the eggs hatched yesterday. So far I've been able to watch the parent eagles take turns sitting on the nest and feed the baby. They had dragged a huge fish up to the nest yesterday, and this afternoon it looked like there was a squirrel. And the baby eagle is an adorable little fluffball, if you get the chance to see it. More often than not, one of the parents is sitting on it. It'll be interesting to see if either of the two eggs that are left end up hatching.

Oh, and look at that. I can embed it:

Of course, it's dark out now, but be sure to check it out tomorrow, East Coast time (GMT -4).
