Mmahahahaha! I got up this morning at 4:40 am to get ready for my trip down to almost-Delaware for a job interview, but! Genius that I am, I had set my computer to run Pandemic II overnight and by the time I checked it (first thing, of course) all countries were infected and the message said, "The Human Population is Overcome." Basically, I won. :D

Actually, that would have been so much cooler had I been awake to watch it happen. Oh well - victory was still mine!

Oh, and the interview went well (though I was the first candidate screened, so we'll see. Historically, it's the second or third person who comes in who already has their master's degree...), and I'm finally home after having been on the road since 6:30 this morning.

And finally, I got a chance to play a Wii for the first time while babysitting my cousins. My arms are so sore now! Man, I skip the gym for one day, and my seven-year-old cousin can walk all over me with a video game. :D

:D Fuck you, Madagascar!

Glad to hear the job interview went well - those are always so stressful. What's the position?

Hey there! The job I interviewed for is that of a high school librarian. If I don't get it, oh well - the school is in the middle of freaking nowhere. After the appointment, I thought, what the hell, maybe there are some nice apartments in this area or something. Yeah, no dice, and that was after putting an extra 30 miles on the car just driving down country roads, only to discover... more country roads. Luckily for me, I borrowed my dad's GPS so I could find my way back to civilization.

You know what I'm excited about? I just downloaded your updated story to my reader so that I can be entertained while sitting in the car tomorrow! I'm bringing a notebook with me, too, so I can write some things down as I read if I want. I am SO glad that you've been writing this week! Seeing the file in my inbox totally made my night. :D

Lastly (why do I do this in comments? I should just send an email), I listened to the new 10th Wonder this afternoon, and it was all about Comic Con. How cool is it to hear other people talk about this great thing that happened - and then to totally understand everything they're talking about because you were able to be there, too? It's like the excitement just hasn't faded yet, even though it's been two weeks. :D

Anyway! Talk to you soon; if anything really interesting happens in Maine, I'll send you a text message. :D
