OMG - those pictures turned out great! We got our zoo pictures back, but they were all pretty bad. : (

And I love that thingy is a word. I will reserve this knowledge for future Scrabble games.

Hee, yeah, my zoo pictures didn't turn out, either, except that flower one. All of the others were taken with my parents' mega camera. I did catch the mountain picture myself, though, since I got the window seat on the flight back. :-D

We had a great Thanksgiving - and my brother came to stay with me and Brian last night! XD

I think we scared Brian a little, what with the finishing each other's sentences and making cryptic phrases and laughing like loons. : P And Brian's mom is coming over for a Christmas-cake baking extravaganza this afternoon. How'd your Thanksgiving go?

That's great! People say it all the time, but your brother's hysterical. I think it's fantastic that you guys can finish each other's sentences. :^D

My Thanksgiving was fun; we went to my cousins' house and had some tasty food. I was proud of myself in that I didn't totally pig out, as it were. :-P Instead, I made the mistake of having a cup of coffee around eight or so and consequently couldn't get to sleep until around 3:30 AM (hence the late-night picture post). Oh well, live and learn.

Plus, my brother and my cousin who's in college in Connecticut both came home for the holiday, and we got to have our normal, philosophical/political/entertainment conversations, so it was all good.

And, Christmas-cake baking day? That sounds like the best thing ever! Yay for cake! :-D
