There are some things in life, though they are small things, that really ought to be treasured. The fact that we have thus far had a very mild winter here in southeastern Pennsylvania is one of those things. We had a little snow at the very beginning of December, but it's long since melted. We've also seen days where the high temperatures have barely made it into the 20s (F) with bitterly cold winds, but those days have been very few. It's been enough that we can come home, wrap up cozily in sweaters and afghans, and read or listen to music without feeling shut in. I love that aspect of this time of year. We can rail against the cold when we're out in it, and lament the early setting of the sun, but this is the time of year that I use to read and watch movies the most, without feeling as though I'm wasting a day.

I suppose it's good that I feel that, seeing as there's plenty of winter left. :^)
